It’s time for Pochettino to start looking at these 3 boy wonders in January

The Tottenham fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are waiting for the next young homegrown star to enter the fray at White Hart Lane…

The Lilywhites have a great track recording of bringing through young stars, with the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli making a breakthrough in recent years – whilst Harry Winks looks likely to be the next star to make it into the Tottenham first team.

Mauricio Pochettino must be given a lot of credit for the commitment that he has made to bringing through young talent – but he cannot stop there.

There are a host of young players in Europe that are deserving of a spot in the Premier League, and Tottenham has quickly become the ideal destination for them – and Pochettino must look towards the next young star.

With that said, it’s time for Pochettino to start looking at these 3 boy wonders in January

Ante Coric

Ante Coric is an exciting attacking midfielder right in the Tottenham mould – and he would be a shrewd investment.

It seems as though he has been around for years, but he remains just 19-years-old – with his best years still ahead of him.

He is fantastic from set pieces, a technical wizard and has an eye for a goal. In many ways, he draws a lot of parallels with Dele Alli, and that can only be a good thing for Tottenham.

He will likely be in-demand and pricey – but he will be worth every penny.

Dominic Solanke

This is a bit of a curveball, considering that players rarely move from Chelsea to Tottenham – but this would make a lot of sense for player and club.

Tottenham have a record of developing top young strikers, with Harry Kane the best example – and Solanke is right in that mould.

Like Kane, he might not possess the technical ability, but he is a natural forward and goalscorer.

Solanke’s contract expires at the end of the season, and with no renewal in sight, Tottenham could get themselves a great deal.

Moussa Dembele

Moussa Dembele is a man-in-demand, with the young Celtic forward making a real name for himself in Scotland.

He moved to Celtic over the summer, and since then, he has not stopped scoring.

Despite being just 20-years-old he is already building up an impressive pedigree of Champions League and SPL experience – and a big money move is definitely on the cards.

Like with Solanke, Tottenham could use their track record to attract the young forward.
