For those of you who have been living in a cave in outer Mongolia, Joey Barton is a man with reputation for kicking, bruising and generally causing bother. The man’s been jailed for it.

We had the whole Danny Murphy business the other week. Some no5t very intelligent folk are happy to have a game that embraces thuggery. Nobody had their leg broken, but this footage certainly catapults Barton into being Top Ten material.
