There always seems to be a new wonderkid emerging at Tottenham. Be it Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Harry Winks or whoever else since Mauricio Pochettino took over. This time, though, it’s a player who closely resembles Poch, as the young Argentine ball-playing centre-back, Juan Foyth is showing the world what he can do.

At just 20-years-old, Foyth has shown that he can step in and perform at the top level as he’s shone for Spurs over the last few weeks. His debut in the Premier League didn’t go entirely as planned as after playing extremely well for 70 minutes he found himself let down by teammates and put in clumsy challenges, giving away two penalties, but since then he’s bounced back with consecutive man of the match awards for club and country.
Last Saturday Tottenham ground out a tough 1-0 win away Selhurst Park thanks to a first Tottenham goal for Foyth and after that it looks like his confidence is sky-high. His first Tottenham goal was then followed quickly by another career first as he started for La Albiceleste against Mexico, playing the full 90 minutes in his nation’s 2-0 win and winning the man of the match award for his efforts. The Lilywhites know they have a player on their hands now and will be desperate to see him progress and grow as a player under Poch in the coming seasons.
