Everton have made some good progress under Ronald Koeman this season, with the Toffees on course for a place in Europe barring a collapse.
The former Southampton manager has made some good additions backed by the club’s new owners, and the Everton fans here in the Tavern are excited about the summer ahead.
Plenty of new additions could join the club, and with big speculation over Romelu Lukaku’s future, it might well be vital just how well Koeman does in the summer in terms of shaking his squad up.
One thing he will need to do though is look at his current pack, and make a few decisions around certain players and their future at Goodison.
With this in mind, here are THREE Everton players who could find their career up for debate this summer…
Muhamed Besic

The Bosnian has had a bit of a torrid time since moving to Goodison a few seasons ago, and his time could well be up.
The introduction of Morgan Schneiderlin and the fact Ronald Koeman often opts for Gareth Barry ahead of Besic, suggests that he could well be on his way out when the transfer window opens this summer.
Arouna Kone

A player who seems to have plenty in the locker but also a player who seems to have been hampered by one too many injuries during his time at the club.
The time could well be up for Kone now though, with Everton having ambitions of Champions League football over the coming seasons, meaning they will no doubt be dipping into the market for strikers again.
Aaron Lennon

The former Leeds and Spurs man has found himself out of the team more often than not this season, and he might well be one who moves on this summer.
Lennon still has something to offer for plenty of clubs in the top two divisions, but his time at Goodison could well be coming to an end.
