West Ham United have suffered three consecutive defeats on the spin and their fans here in the Tavern are praying their side aren’t dragged into a relegation dogfight, with just a handful of games remaining!

After the 3-2 defeat to Leicester City this weekend, it’s now three games on the spin that have ended in defeat for the Hammers and signs of early-season form are beginning to trickle back into Slaven Bilic’s squad.

Despite being nine points clear of the relegation zone after defeat to the Foxes, it’s getting more and more important that points are picked up between now and the end of the season, even to clear up any lingering relegation doubts.

And going into the summer, Hammers fans here in the Tavern know that the boss has some real decisions to make when it comes to senior members of this squad.

There are some that are blatantly not good enough whilst some should definitely be kept on the books for years to come.

So with that in mind, here’s THREE West Ham stars that Bilic needs to make a decision on as soon as possible…

AXE: Andy Carroll

Andy Carroll had begun to pick up some goalscoring form over the past couple of weeks but his appalling injury record continues to blight his time at the Olympic Stadium.

Some of the real hardcore Hammers fans here in the Tavern are growing increasingly annoyed about paying a player so much money who spends most of his time on the bench.

There’s real feeling that investing any potential transfer fee that could be recouped for the Liverpool man in a young, hungry starlet might be a better decision moving forward.

KEEP: Ashley Fletcher

There’s plenty of doubters here in the Tavern who suspect former Manchester United man Ashley Fletcher might not be good enough to lead the line in the future for the Hammers.

But in retrospect, the one-time Barnsley loanee hasn’t started enough games to really show supporters what he can do this campaign.

At 21-years-old, he’s still got years ahead of him to prove himself and if things still aren’t working out in the first-team for Fletcher next season, a loan move away might serve his development best.

AXE: Robert Snodgrass

A January addition from Hull City, Robert Snodgrass’ development in London seems to have hit a stumbling block following his transfer to the Olympic Stadium.

Despite not paying a huge amount for the 29-year-old, some of the Hammers faithful here in the Tavern haven’t been that impressed with his progress having moved to the club.

The likes of Edmilson Fernandes showed much better form when given the chance earlier on this campaign, and it might be best that they cut their losses and move the Scottish international on this summer.
