La Liga star agrees summer switch to Arsenal

The Real Madrid forward had been linked with a move to the Gunners during the winter transfer window, but Arsene Wenger was not keen on the player arriving on a loan basis – and now it seems that this stance could well have paid off.

Arsenal are now set to land Morata on a permanent deal after Real Madrid gave the forward the green light to make the move.

Morata has been left in the cold this season and has been shocked by the emergence of Jese, who has become one of the untouchables in the side, meaning that opportunities for the player are sorely lacking.

Now in an attempt to get some first team action, Morata has agreed to make the switch to the Premier League in the summer and according to the Spanish press, will become an Arsenal player.
