After a pretty disappointing campaign last time out, it’s fair to say the Aston Villa fans in the Transfer Tavern are expecting big things ahead of the new season.
While this summer’s spending pales in comparison to the last, few would doubt the quality available to Steve Bruce at Villa Park, only strengthened by the big-name capture of former England captain John Terry.
As part of the league’s media day to launch the new campaign, the league title is on show at Villa Park in preparation.
Indeed, it seems there’s so much confidence amongst the Villa Park faithful this season that many of them have taken to Twitter to cheekily demand that the Championship trophy remains at the ground all season.
Here’s a closer look.
Trophies have come to Villa Park and we haven't even started the season #avfc https://t.co/BfAMbLUS2E
