Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has expressed his delight at Robin Koch's latest injury update, as he works towards his return to the side.

The Lowdown: Koch missing for months

The Whites are back in Premier League action with a trip to Tottenham on Sunday afternoon, but they will once again be without Koch's services.

The 6 foot 4 beast has been missing since the opening weekend of the season when he picked up a hip injury away to Manchester United. The defence has struggled in his absence, winning just twice in the league this term.

Koch's return is hopefully not too far away now and a fresh update has led to plenty of positivity from the very top of the club.

The Latest: Radrizzani hails update

On Thursday evening, the Leeds defender posted a video of himself working hard on his recovery in the gym and one person who responded was Radrizzani.

He simply posted a five-word verdict on the clip, showing his support for a player who certainly has plenty of potential at just 25 years of age:

"Dai dai. Come on Robin."
'Dai dai' is a motivational expression in Italy roughly translating to 'come on' or 'let's go'.

The Verdict: Great to see

It is further proof of the bond that exists between the owner and the players at Leeds, with everyone pulling in the same direction during the Marcelo Bielsa era, a far cry from the chaos in the board room under previous leadership.

Koch may not necessarily be an indispensable figure at Elland Road - he only made 13 league starts last season, for example - but he has been hailed as 'magnificent' by Noel Whelan in the past and is certainly a key squad player, and one who Bielsa could have turned to in what has been somewhat of a crisis in defence this season.

The 25-year-old's return will bolster Bielsa's options significantly, not only giving him more defensive choices but also enhancing his midfield depth due to his versatility.
