Rodrigo missed his chance to impress Marcelo Bielsa versus West Ham United in what was his first start in the Premier League for seven games.
The former Valencia star was deemed one of the worst players on the pitch by Sofascore with a quite measly 6.7 rating, and it is very easy to see why based on some of his stats from the match.

He lost possession of the ball no fewer than on 20 separate occasions in the clash, which was only worsened by his teammate Raphinha and Sebastian Haller for David Moyes’ team (Sofascore).
Rodrigo also only managed to record a mere 63% pass accuracy, which was the lowest out of any of the Whites at Elland Road, and even more shocking considering that the striker played in a deeper role under Bielsa (Sofascore).
Recording fewer touches than goalkeeper Illan Meslier, as well as losing out on no fewer than eight of his duels and making no key passes (Sofascore), he failed to make any sort of real impact for the Peacocks throughout the whole evening.
What is next for Rodrigo?
With just one goal in 11 matches in all competitions now for LUFC since his club-record £30m move from Spain in the summer transfer window, the 29 year-old really needs to step up now over the busy Christmas period and show why such big money was paid for him.
