Bradford City are keeping tabs on Leeds defender Bryce Hosannah ahead of the summer window, the Telegraph & Argus report.

The 21-year-old made the move to Valley Parade back in September on a season-long loan. Hosannah made 11 appearances for The Bantams during the current campaign but has been out of action since December in West Yorkshire due to injury.

He’s undergone hamstring surgery, but it seems as if the League Two side are keen to sign Hosannah, capable of playing anywhere across the backline, once again in the upcoming window.

When asked about Hosannah, as reported by the Telegraph & Argus, joint boss Mark Trueman admitted:

“If Bryce is a player that is available, there is always potential that he could return.”

Transfer Tavern take

To us, we think the Whites should agree to another loan spell ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.

Hosannah is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Whites, who now have another talented right-back in their ranks in Cody Drameh.

The 19-year-old has missed just three of the club’s Premier League 2 fixtures this season, playing a key role under Mark Jackson.

With Marcelo Bielsa able to keep a close eye on Drameh’s development, it could make sense for Hosannah to stake his claim elsewhere.
