Let’s be sane: Bilic should seriously just let these 3 West Ham players go

The West Ham United fans here in the Transfer Tavern have been extremely disappointed with their current campaign, with many predicting that current boss Slaven Bilic may well leave before the season comes to a close.

The Hammers were one of the surprise packages of the 2015/16 campaign yet they have failed to scale such heights during the current campaign – their maiden season in their new home on the site of the Olympic Stadium.

It looks a desperate time for the Hammers and last weekend’s 1-0 win over Swansea City earned their under fire manager a stay of execution for now at the very least.

The summer looks to be massive for the Londoners with last year’s recruitment clearly below standard and it remains to be seen whether the West Ham hierarchy will trust Bilic with another transfer window.

Our landlord looks at three players who the Hammers should offload in order to raise money for better recruits.

Diafra Sakho

The Senegalese striker has experienced a torrid time with injuries and West Ham would probably be wise to get the 27-year-old off their wage budget during the summer.

One West Ham United fan is sat having a pint of the landlord’s best bitter here in the Transfer Tavern and he agrees that Sakho should be moved on during the summer, stating that he isn’t playing enough football to warrant his current wage.

James Collins

The 33-year-old central defender hasn’t been quite as influential this season as he has been in recent years and West Ham could look to sign a younger defender during the summer.

A couple of West Ham fans are tucking into one of the landlord’s sausage butties and they agree that Collins is past his best, stating that if the Hammers are serious about progressing then they need to look towards a better defensive option.

Alvaro Arbeloa

The ex-Real Madrid defender looked like a real coup when he signed for the Hammers in the summer, yet his time at the London Stadium hasn’t quite worked out according to plan.

He has spent the majority of the season injured, featuring just three times for the club since his arrival and it could be that the club opt to move him on during the summer.

One West Ham fan is sat chilling with the Sunday morning newspaper and a mug of coffee here in the Tavern and he thinks that Arbeloa has been a complete and utter waste of time.

West Ham fans, do you agree that these three should be offloaded? Who else should depart the club? Let us know in the comments below!!!
