If Spurs are serious about eventually challenging for the Premier League title, then they will need some reinforcements at the back.

Keane is far too good to remain at Burnley for much longer and Spurs would be wise to try and secure the youngster during the January transfer window.

Ross Barkley

The Everton midfielder’s career seems to have stagnated somewhat at his current club and a fresh challenge could be just what the player needs.

Barkley looks out of sorts lately and the chance to feature regularly in the race for European football could be too good for the Liverpool-born player to turn down.
