Hugo Lloris has long-cemented himself as one of Europe’s best goalkeepers – but his display last night was something out-of-this-world.
The French captain looked unbeatable between-the-sticks, and he proved to be the difference-maker as Spurs held on in Germany.
Save after save, Lloris kept out Bayer Leverkusen time and time again, and without him – the end result would have, without, been very different.
In the end, it finished 0-0 – and Mauricio Pochettino has his goalkeeper to thank for that.
Everyone in the Tavern was delighted with his performance, and our landlord is expecting the response to be very similar elsewhere.
