Trent Alexander-Arnold has been named the Premier League’s Young Player of the Season for the 2019/20 term.
The young Scouser has been acknowledged for his incredible efforts during his side’s first ever Premier League title win. The right-back was a stand-out performer, particularly after an impressive goal contribution tally.

Alexander-Arnold finished the campaign with the second highest amount of assists (13), behind only Kevin de Bruyne with 20 and beating teammate Andy Robertson, who finished with 12 (via Premier League).
The 21-year-old was named as part of an eight-man shortlist in contention for the Young Player of the Season award. He emerged above three Manchester United stars Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial, as well as Dean Henderson, Jack Grealish, Christian Pulisic and Mason Mount.
Loads of Liverpool fans are flocking to the news to congratulate their right-back. One supporter has said that ‘no one comes close’ to Alexander-Arnold. Another thinks the award was always ‘in the bag’ for the defender after such a successful season.

Best crosser of the ball alongside De Bruyne. Reminds me of David Beckham in his prime. To think TAA is not even at peak is terrifying. No doubt he’ll become a legend for Liverpool and England pic.twitter.com/RUNTiS4AG0
