Pep Guardiola has hit out at Jurgen Klopp and Jose Mourinho following Manchester City’s overturned European ban.
The Citizens were recently given the good news that their initial two-year ban from Champions League football will not stand. According to The Mirror, Guardiola has slammed his Premier League rivals for ‘ganging up’ on him after eight clubs contacted the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in March.

The top-flight sides, which included Liverpool and Manchester United, wanted to stop City from potentially delaying their appeal process in order to still play in Europe next season. However, this was reportedly never the aim, and Guardiola has addressed Mourinho and Klopp, saying he deserves an apology from them.
Many Liverpool fans have flocked to @AnfieldEdition’s tweet – which relayed the information – to poke fun at the Spaniard’s recent comments. One supporter has tweeted ‘cry more’ whilst another has blasted Guardiola’s accusations as ‘laughable’.
