Tottenham fans here in the Tavern are drinking to hide their disappointment, after a 1-1 draw with a struggling Southampton side.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have been less than convincing in recent times, as the early season domination now looks to be a thing of the past for the Lilywhites.
Indeed, after moving to Wembley this season, things just haven’t been the same for Spurs, as the old saying, ‘there’s no place like home’ can’t be associated with Tottenham fans this season, with their new fortress currently undergoing construction. Still, with fans yet to get over the heartbreak of leaving their beloved White Hart Lane behind, many believe that this has been the source of many problems for the Lilywhites, with them struggling to adjust to new conditions.
However, with Harry Crane and the construction team making huge strides towards getting their new stadium ready for next season, Tottenham’s Twitter account took to notify fans on blue tiles being fitted onto the North Stand of their new stadium.

Following the club’s post, fans were quick to give off humoured responses with many feeling like their focus should be on other things.
Nevertheless, here’s a look at exactly the sort of reaction that was given off on social media…
