Our Tottenham fans here in the Transfer Tavern are certainly feeling pretty down at the moment as their team once again failed to get through an FA Cup semi-final.
Indeed, going into their game at Wembley yesterday against Chelsea, many felt this was the moment that the club would finally come of age and go on to win a trophy.
Instead, though, despite all their possession, it was the Blues who emerged victorious as they scored at crucial times to really knock the stuffing out of the Lilywhites.
The men from the Lane, then, need to regroup with the Premier League title still very much attainable – something they will surely be motivated to achieve.
Indeed, Mauricio Pochettino seemed to refer to the fact that the club will go again in speaking to the club’s official Twitter after the game and, naturally, Spurs fans had something to say.
