West Ham United fans here in the Tavern are praying that their side can secure another season in the Premier League, as there’s still the possibility of relegation to the Championship. 

The Hammers have failed to produce positive results on a consistent basis so far this season, as they’ve flirted with the possibility of relegation right the way through the current campaign. Although, West Ham will need to get rid of a few underperforming players at the end of the season, as there’re plenty of improvements to be had in what’s been a stressful campaign.

Of course, there definitely needs to be changes made in the summer transfer window, with the Hammers possibly conducting a major overhaul as they’ll look to push for a mid-table finish next season. But, this could all depend on their judgement in the summer transfer window, as there needs to be movement going both ways in what will be a busy few months.

Sam Byram

Sam Byram has completely lost his way in the current campaign as he seems to have no future at the club, with David Moyes opting for experience over youth as Pablo Zabaleta and Patrice Evra remain above him in the pecking order.

Indeed, the Englishman would love nothing more than to prove himself on the country’s biggest stage, but has failed to make the most of limited opportunities in the side as he continues to stagnate.

Therefore, the Hammers should look to offload the defender in the summer transfer window, as it’s clear to see that there’s no future to be had with other clubs possibly looking to spend big on the 24-year-old.

Andy Carroll

Andy Carroll has struggled with an injury in the current campaign as he continues to spend time out on the sidelines, but could struggle to make his way back into the starting lineup when he returns.

Indeed, the Englishman just hasn’t been able to produce a rich vein of goalscoring form so far this season, as the Hammers can’t afford to cater for his services after offering very little.

Therefore, West Ham should look to sell the striker in the summer transfer window, as they could receive a healthy sum that will go towards bringing in a proven goalscorer.

James Collins

James Collins has struggled to earn as many minutes as he’d of liked so far this season, as he doesn’t seem to be a part of David Moyes’ plans in what’s been a rather frustrating campaign for the 34-year-old.

Indeed, the Welshman has always been a consistent performer for the Hammers in recent years, but he’s failed to keep opposing attackers at bay in the current campaign as his age is beginning to show.

Therefore, David Moyes should look to get rid of the defender in the summer transfer window, as he’s beginning to struggle with Premier League football.
