Man City make proactive step with view to signing world class star ASAP

Sanchez

Our Manchester City fans here in the Transfer Tavern are very excited about what this Deadline Day could have in store for their club with big money moves still being touted.

The final day of the transfer market has underwhelmed in recent seasons but this year it looks as though there could be plenty of action to keep across with one deal right at the forefront of City fans’ minds – the one involving Alexis Sanchez.

Talked about for most of the summer, the Chilean remains an Arsenal player right now but it surely wouldn’t take much to persuade him to leave – especially after the Gunners’ 4-0 loss last time out against Liverpool.

And, according to the Telegraph, City have sent representatives to South America – where Sanchez is right now thanks to the international break – so they can get a deal done quickly if a fee is agreed.

Now, then, the wait begins and many are going to be glued to the TV’s here in the bar and to their phones throughout the day as we wait to see if the Chilean forward gets his move to the Etihad.

Landlord’s Verdict

Surely Arsenal will cash in on Sanchez because otherwise his potential money-making capability is only going to go down.

He’s not going to sign a new deal and so the Gunners need to try and make as much as they can from City by the end of the day.

Thoughts, City fans? Let us know below!
