Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern can’t quite believe what they’re hearing today, after it was claimed they’re making moves for some exciting additions.
Pogba memorably left Old Trafford as a young midfielder under Sir Alex Ferguson, due to a lack of first-team opportunities, and followed suit by becoming one the the hottest properties in world football after his performances with the Turin giants.
The French international was instrumental in Juventus’ double-winning campaign last season and has asked his agent, Mino Raiola, to make the deal happen.
It would be a major double addition for United, who reportedly want Allegri to replace Louis Van Gaal upon the Dutchman’s retirement in 2017.
United fans in the bar can’t quite believe this is true, though they can see Allegri being their next manager. However, they just can’t see Pogba returning.
