Zlatan Ibrahimovic has struggled so far this season, and it would appear that we finally know why.
According to the Sun, the Swedish forward is concerned about Jose Mourinho’s training regime – and he is believed to think that it is contributing to his poor form.
In particular, the Sun notes that a focus on playing with the ball over aerobic exercise is contributing – and it is seemingly making him less sharp.
This would definitely make sense, as Ibrahimovic has really looked off the pace this season.
The Man Utd in the Football Transfer Tavern are really concerned about this. Mourinho’s management is not working at the moment – and it would seem that his problems go far deeper than a few poor tactical decisions.
Our landlord thinks that if Mourinho cannot get the best out of Ibrahimovic – it could spell disaster.
Despite his critics, Ibrahimovic has done fairly well this season – having already bagged 6 Premier League goals. He has also been a constant under Mourinho, having made 11 starts so far.
