Manchester City: Fans discuss Coronovirus postponement as Arsenal players quarantined

According to a tweet by Associated Press Global Sports correspondent Rob Harris, Arsenal players have entered self-isolation as a precaution of potentially coming into contact with the coronavirus – resulting in Manchester City’s clash against the Gunners being postponed.

Just days after coming into contact with Olympiakos and Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis, it has been revealed by Harris that Arsenal players will face self-isolation until the club can be sure that they’re not carrying the disease.

Coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, has been spreading rapidly all over the world – with Italian officials going so far as to postpone all Serie A matches until further notice. The World Health Organisation, via Time, estimates that the virus has a 3.4% death rate – with those of ill-health, old age and various other factors being in more danger when coming into contact. As a result, taken with precautionary measures, the match between City and Arsenal on Wednesday night was postponed.
