Speaking to Sporf back in 2017, Sergio Aguero produced one of his most memorable moments off the pitch during his Manchester City career.
In an interview ahead of a looming Manchester Derby at the Etihad, Aguero was asked which Manchester United player he would have in the City team.
Responding in hilarious fashion, the Argentine took a moment to think over his verdict, looking particularly puzzled, but when he drew breath at long last, he could not pick any Red Devils man – stating ‘I prefer no-one’.
Sky Blues supporters particularly loved this response, prompting the clip to go viral and for Aguero to be praised for something he did off the football pitch for a change.
The South American became City’s all-time top scorer back in 2017 against Napoli in the Champions League, cementing his legendary status after he scored arguably the most crucial goal in the club’s history against QPR back in 2012.
There was already a long list of reasons for supporters to adore the striker, but this funny jibe just added one more.
