Kevin De Bruyne was the star of the show once again for Manchester City as they beat Sheffield United 2-0. He bagged a goal and an assist to top off a year which was marred by injury, but he seems back to his best now. City fans appear to realise that too.
He’s top of the Premier League assist chart on 12, with Trent Alexander-Arnold second with eight. He’s also scored seven goals in the league too, contributing to his WhoScored rating of 8/10 for his performances so far this season. The 28-year-old has now scored three and assisted three in his last four games.
The club posted a photo of his celebrations after scoring the second of the night, and it was clear to see just how much the City faithful love the Belgian ace. Many replied to show just how much they love him, with some saying he’s the best in the league and even the world.
