Manchester United fans celebrated the potential exit of defender Matteo Darmian after the BBC reported that he is expected to leave before the close of the European transfer window.
Darmian joined the club from Serie A side Torino for a fee believed to be £12.75m in 2015.
The 29-year-old Italy international has made just 13 appearances since December 2017, with seven of them coming last season (via Transfermarkt).
Chris Smalling has completed a loan move to AS Roma and Marcos Rojo has question marks over his future at Old Trafford.
Rojo saw a deadline day move to Everton break down.
None of the three players have featured in the club’s opening three Premier League games this season.
