Manchester United: Red Devils fans love Raphael Honigstein’s update on Jadon Sancho

According to Raphael Honigstein, Borussia Dortmund are open to sorting out an agreement with Manchester United for Jadon Sancho this summer. Unsurprisingly, the journalist’s latest update has driven many Red Devils crazy.

Speaking on The Warm Down Podcast, Honigstein revealed that despite Dortmund’s public stance on Sancho staying, they are still very open to negotiating a contract with Ed Woodward in the upcoming transfer window.

After arriving at the Signal Iduna Park from Manchester City for only £7m back in 2017, the English sensation has featured in 23 games in the Bundesliga for Lucien Favre’s side this season, scoring 14 goals and providing 15 assists so far (WhoScored).

The 20-year-old has already won 11 caps for Gareth Southgate’s national team and bagged two goals up until now (EnglandStats).

Understandably, his prolific spell in the famous BVB jersey has caught the attention of a number of leading European giants, including bitter rivals Chelsea.

As it stands, the German club are keen to sell Sancho as it fits their business model, and it seems Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has usurped Blues boss Frank Lampard in the race to sign the talented winger.

Unsurprisingly, loads of United fans gleefully reacted to the “big” transfer news on Twitter, with one supporter dubbing the reporter’s comments as “glorious,” and another adding “Ole’s pull power is insane.”
