Manchester City sit third in the Premier League and are looking as though they will pip Arsenal to the group stage spot for the Champions League. It has been a big season for the Citizens in securing Champions League football and winning the FA Cup and they now feel they can take on the world. With the opportunity to play at the highest level in European competition and the financial resources available they are now a forced to be reckoned with and will strike fear into their European rivals.
If the blue half of Manchester want to push on next season and challenge in Europe then a marquee signing is needed this summer.
