News just in from Italy that enquiries have been made by Manchester City for Giorgio Chiellini of Juventus. Word is that a provisional bid of €15M is approximately €5M short.
I guess the real issue here is what Kolo Toure’s plans are.
The Chiellini has been on Mancini’s radar for some time now, not to mention Manchester United’s and Bayern’s as one would expect with a player of his calibre. City are going to be linked with the world and his wife this summer, but this one may well have legs.
