West Ham started their season off with a tough away fixture against Liverpool.
After a huge summer splurge, the Reds are now ready to challenge City for the title this season.
Like Liverpool, West Ham have spent heavily on their squad bringing in nine players for close to £100 million.
Following a very tumultuous season, West Ham needed to reinvest heavily into the squad and back their new manager, Manuel Pellegrini.
The owners have done that and the fans shouldn’t be too critical of the team after their loss today – a loss against a team that could win the title this season.
Against Liverpool, West Ham were just simply outclassed by a much better side. However, following the game, West Ham fans singled out long-time Hammers man, Mark Noble for his poor play today.
