West Ham United should look at replacing manager David Moyes with Middlesbrough boss Michael Carrick, according to pundit Gabby Agbonlahor.
The Lowdown: Moyes’ future in doubt?
The Hammers are assessing their options to replace Moyes, given their disappointing Premier League season up to this point, and there have been a number of potential candidates linked with the role.
Recent reports have indicated that AS Roma manager Jose Mourinho has been targeted by the West Ham hierarchy, while they have also been linked with a move for Lazio boss Maurizio Sarri, as well as Carrick.

Speaking to Football Insider, Agbonlahor stated that the end of the season may be the right time for the Hammers to part ways with their current manager.
The pundit said: “If they stay up, it might be for the best to move on from Moyes.
“If there’s a Michael Carrick out there and willing to take the job – then why not freshen it up? It’s a completely new direction.
“He’s done so well with Middlesbrough and there aren’t many people who had a playing career like him. He knows the club too.
“Maybe Moyes’ time as a manager has come to an end. He’s had a great career, but it could be time to stop.”
The Verdict: Right man for the job?
The 41-year-old has been hailed by members of the media for the ‘incredible‘ job he is doing at Middlesbrough, and it is clear to see why, given the turnaround that he has overseen since being appointed back in October.
In his 20 Championship games at the helm of the club, the Englishman, who favours a 4-2-3-1 formation, has won 15, averaging 2.30 points-per match, with his side now up to third in the second tier.
Given his history with the club as a player, making 153 appearances for the Hammers, it would be unsurprising if Carrick is tempted by a move to the London Stadium, and he is showing all the hallmarks of an exciting young player.
