‘More talent than Pogba imo’ - Spurs fans urge Levy to land 21-year-old enforcer on Twitter

The Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern are beginning to prepare for life after Mousa Dembele, and they have identified a player whom they believe has the potential to become a star in the Premier League.

Tanguy NDombele was something of an unknown entity at the beginning of the season, but after cementing his place at the heart of Lyon’s midfield the 21-year-old has established himself as one of the brightest young talents on the continent.

With Mousa Dembele’s future in North London hanging firmly in the balance, it’s no wonder that the Tottenham fans have taken a shine to the French enforcer amid rumours from the French media outlet Paris United which claim he has emerged as a target for Mauricio Pochettino.

The same report claims that the likes of Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, Liverpool, Atletico Madrid and Roma are all monitoring NDombele’s situation as he prepares to return to SC Amiens following a year long loan spell at Olympique Lyon, and it’s easy to see why he is attracting so much interest based on his performances in Ligue 1 this season.

The 21-year-old (valued at £22.5 million by Transfermarkt) demonstrates a composure beyond his years in possession of the ball whilst using deft body movements, intricate passes and dazzling dribbling to play his way out of trouble.

With the ability to influence the game at both ends of the pitch and an end-product to match his exciting build-up play, NDombele looks like a sensational talent to watch for the future, so it’s no surprise the Lilywhites faithful are calling for Daniel Levy to secure his signature this summer.

Naturally, Tottenham’s next move in the transfer market will be dictated by Dembele’s future, but it seems that plenty of the supporters believe their club should sign the French star regardless of the Belgian’s decision regarding his future.
