Manchester United are struggling in the Premier League this season, and the Red Devils in the Tavern are getting seriously concerned.
Jose Mourinho’s arrival was expected to usher in a new dawn of progression for the Manchester giants – but if anything, the once-dominant side have regressed since the departure of Louis van Gaal.
It will come as no surprise, then, to learn that Mourinho is willing to try something drastic in order to get the best out of his side; but not even our landlord predicted this…
According to the Sun, Man Utd defender Andreas Pereira could be set to return early from his loan at Granada – with Mourinho struggling for first-team depth.
Whilst they do not suggest that any cancellation is imminent, the Sun are reporting that Mourinho is genuinely considering it as an option.
This would come as a surprise, as Pereira himself has never really impressed in a Man Utd shirt. He has never made a Premier League start for the club, whilst he has only made a handful of appearances from the bench.
That being said, he has improved in La Liga this season – having made 9 starts for the struggling Spanish outfit.
The Man Utd fans in the Tavern have always had high hopes for Pereira, but a few of the more cynical punters in the Tavern simply don’t think that he is good enough. They think that if Mourinho thought he could make an impact; he wouldn’t have been loaned out.

He thinks that the youngster could do a serious job for Mourinho if given the chance…
