The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern are hoping that their side’s summer transfer business will pick up a bit of steam over the coming weeks.
The Red Devils have had a tough few months, and having ended the season trophyless, Jose Mourinho will be expected to pick things up next season.
However, the Red Devils have hardly had the best start to their preparations this summer.
With the World Cup, combined with a newly shortened summer transfer window to contend with, it was vital that the Red Devils were quick to the button as they looked to improve the team.
Unfortunately, though, they’re yet to make a splash, and that’s really causing friction amongst the Man Utd fans on Twitter.
In particular, confirmation that Liverpool have signed Brazilian ace Fabinho has frustrated fans – with many of the Old Trafford faithful seemingly eager to see him at their club. They’re also angry that Man Utd have yet to be active, in contrast to their league rivals.
Many fingers are being pointed towards Jose Mourinho himself, and it’s clear that fans are not happy.
