Indeed, due to struggling to gain any game time at left-back since his return from injury, a move away from Manchester is much needed if he is to reignite his quest for first team football and a return to action for the Three Lions.

However, in the right-back position, the favoured Kieran Tripper has managed to appear 14 times so far, with competitors Serge Aurier and Kyle Walker-Peters receiving 8 and 4 appearances accordingly.
