Mousa Dembele could be on the verge of making a return to the Tottenham Hotspur side in the near future.
The Belgium international has been on the sidelines with a knee injury that he sustained at the beginning of November in their match with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
However, just two months after undergoing surgery for the problem, the midfielder has provided fans with a hugely positive update on Instagram.
Dembele took to the social media network to show pictures of him back in training with the first-team.

The 31-year-old revealed that it was “Good to be back on the training field…”.
Mauricio Pochettino will be pleased to have one of his key men in the middle of the park back available in the near future, with the likes of Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama both on the sidelines.
The Verdict:

Dembele has been a key member of the Spurs team when available and fans will be delighted to see him back on the training pitch.
Although Tottenham already have a number of midfield options, arguably, none of them can offer what the Belgian brings to the pitch on a regular basis.
However, with doubts about his long-term future continuing with his contract set to expire at the end of the summer, fans would be happier if he committed to the club.
