West Ham United haven’t had too much to shout about since making the move to the Olympic Stadium, yet ever since David Moyes has taken over it’s been constructed into more of a fortress for both the club and fans.
Indeed, after their early season wobble. The Hammers are far from safe yet, as one game could change everything with the dreaded relegation still a possibility.
Therefore, with Moyes looking to build on this fine run of form that the claret and blue are currently enjoying, their next few games against bottom-half opposition are going to be crucial in their Premier League survival.
Nevertheless, as some players continue to be ineffective for the Hammers. David Moyes is on the prowl for some handy acquisitions, as he looks to the aid of David Gold and David Sullivan for some financial backing to go ahead and fulfill his transfer needs.

Jack Wilshere
The 26-year-old has had a torrid time with injuries in seasons gone by as they continue to bring his career to a halt. Although, since returning back to the Arsenal side, he’s shown moments of brilliance that may even reward him with a World Cup spot.
After being tipped as the future of English football as a youngster, he’s yet to have the chance to impress. But, now back in the Gunners side he’s been given the freedom of the midfield, in a role that’s seen him establish himself as one of England’s and Arsenal’s brightest hopes.
Indeed, West Ham are crying out for a midfielder like Jack Wilshere, with Mark Noble struggling to carry the load by himself. And, the stamina that the midfielder can provide would work wonders in supporting the likes of Marko Arnautovic at the pinnacle of the attack.
However, the Englishman is reportedly going to have to take a 20% pay-cut if he is to sign a new contract with the Gunners in the summer. So with West Ham having the financial backing, this could be a great coup if they can conjure up £110,000 for his current wage, or attempt to sign him for a reduced price this window.
Daniel Sturridge
The Liverpool striker was one of the goal-scoring icons in the Brendan Rodgers title hunting season that saw the Reds come ever so close to a maiden Premier League title.
However, since Jurgen Klopp has taken over at Anfield things just haven’t been the same for the Englishman, as he falls heavily out of favour due to the rise in form of Roberto Firmino.
Indeed, with West Ham still suffering from the goal-scoring woes of summer signing Javier Hernandez, and speculation ongoing with other strikers. The Hammers are in need of a proven goalscorer, and Daniel Sturridge fits the bill after displaying moments of magic in the red shirt of Liverpool.
And, this looks like it may well become a reality as West Ham are believed to be weighing up a loan move for the striker, according to a report last week from ESPN.
