Fans of Arsenal and Liverpool in the Transfer Tavern are discussing reports that both of them could miss out on a top-target, with Napoli entering the chase for an excellent forward.
22-year-old Jese has found first-team opportunities in the Spanish capital difficult to come by, with the young Spaniard competing with the likes of Karim Benzema for a starting berth.
Now, AS state Napoli scouted the forward during the Champions League victory over Paris Saint-Germain and, despite the forward being hooked off after 63 minutes, the Italian side were impressed by what they’ve seen.
Jese, who has started just four La Liga games so far this term, is now said to be a top-target for Napoli in the January window as they seek a return to Champions League football next season.
