New chapter: Tottenham should freshen things up by selling these 3 players this summer

The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern have seen some real growth over the last few years. Under Mauricio Pochettino, they’ve gone from strength to strength, and that’s expected to continue next season too.

They’ve gone from mid-table strugglers to Premier League challengers, and it’s only a matter of time before they finally win the big one.

However, it can’t be denied that there is a ton of talent in North London that need to have their futures reconsidered.

Despite their recent success, some of their transfer business has been questionable at best, and so this summer, some of those transfer failures need to be adressed.

More specifically, a bit of a transfer clearout needs to happen.

With that said, Tottenham should freshen things up by selling these 3 players this summer…

 Fernando Llorente

Fernando Llorente was brought to Tottenham in an effort to offer further attacking depth beyond Harry Kane.

However, it hasn’t quite panned out like that.

Tottenham are infinetely less efficient when the Spaniard is on the field, and that’s very worrying for Mauricio Pochettino.

Given that he’s already in his 30s, it’s unlikely that he will get out of his slump anytime soon.

 Danny Rose

The emergence of Ben Davies has made the prospect of losing Danny Rose a far more palatable one for the Lilywhites.

Rose, on his day, is still one of Europe’s best, but the Englishman simply doesn’t fit into the team at the moment.

Davies is arguably enjoying the form of his career thus far, and so Pochettino cannot drop him. Meanwhile, having Rose on the bench doesn’t make much sense either.

Time to cash in on the Englishman.

 Moussa Sissoko

Moussa Sissoko has been a decent option for Tottenham this season, but rarely has he been viewed as an undisputed starter.

The Frenchman doesn’t really fit into the attack or midfield at Spurs, and at this point, Tottenhham need to cut their losses on him.

He’s never going to be good enough to displace any of their regular starters, and unfortunately for him, the writing is on the wall with this one.
