Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez will be looking forward to life back in the big time next season, and he will no doubt be going all out to prove his side deserve to be back in the Premier League.
The Magpies managed to pinch the Championship title from under the noses of Brighton on the final day of the season, and they will now be confident of survival in the top flight under the Spaniard.
It represents a huge challenge though to stay in the Premier League, and Benitez will need to strengthen his ranks. Our landlord has been chatting with the Toon Army over by the dartboard this week around the subject of incoming players, and he has made a decent recommendation to them.
The player in question? AC Milan and former Liverpool forward Suso.
The 23-year-old might not seem the most obvious choice, and given his last run in England it might appear he has little to offer. However, he has matured since leaving Anfield, becoming a first team regular for the Rossineri and bagging himself seven goals last season alone.
His classy displays as number 10 make him an excellent player to watch, and his ability to drift into space and create chances make him a nightmare for defenders.
Suso is someone who Benitez will no doubt know plenty about, and he could definitely add something different to the Newcastle squad going into next season.
