Newcastle fans are only just coming off of the high of having their transfer record broken by Miguel Almiron. However, there were also some players going out of St James Park as well as those being brought in. The Chronicle have listed the Magpies’ six loanees and asked the fans which of them have a future at the club, and the verdict is clear.
Murphy, Aarons, Gayle… Do any of the #NUFC loanees have a future at the club? https://t.co/9Ol1hYEHuO

The six players in question aren’t exactly fan favourites, so it’s not a huge shock to see that the Magpies aren’t desperate to keep any of them. The listed players are Dwight Gayle and Jacob Murphy who are at West Brom, Rolando Aarons and Achraf Lazaar who are at Sheffield Wednesday, Jack Colback who’s at Nottingham Forest and finally Henri Saivet who’s now six months into his second loan spell in Turkey, this time with Bursaspor.
Between the Championship and Turkey, the Geordies don’t see a future for any of their sextet of loanees and would happily see them all moved on permanently when the summer comes around, even if they don’t pick up massive fees for the group of them. The wages that would be freed up could be put towards new signings if nothing else and the fans would love to see more ambition like what was shown on transfer deadline day last Thursday.

If we’re relegated, I’d keep hold of Gayle and Murphy. If we stay up, I agree. Get rid of all.

The Magpies can’t see a future for any of their six loanees and would happily let them all leave when the summer comes around.
