Lots of Newcastle United fans have reacted in anger to rumours that Matty Longstaff could be on his way out of the club.
The Chronicle revealed that an ‘ambitious European club’ have put an offer on the table for the highly-rated teenager. The youngster has yet to receive a counter-offer from the Magpies, which could be a concern for manager Steve Bruce, who previously stated that he wants the 19-year-old to stay on Tyneside.
With two goals from seven Premier League games during the current campaign, Longstaff has impressed during his first season in the top flight and scored the winning goal to topple Manchester United earlier in the season. Possessing so much potential, supporters were not impressed with the latest report and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan described the club as a “complete shambles from top to bottom”.
