‘No chance’ - Tottenham fans are all saying the same thing about recent striker report

The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern are hoping for Fernando Llorente to have a strong second-half of the season.

The Spaniard, who moved to Spurs from Swansea City over the summer, has had a tough few months since moving to North London. Though he had a very decent goalscoring record last term, he hasn’t had much of an impact at Tottenham thus far, with Harry Kane stealing all of the plaudits.

In truth, a few fans in the Transfer Tavern are beginning to regret his signing, especially with some big European nights on the horizon.

However, despite the mixed reviews of Llorente’s first few months at Tottenham, recent reports linking him with a move to Chelsea have been laughed off by the Tottenham fans over on Twitter. According to the Independent, Antonio Conte is still keen on him despite missing out on a deal over the summer, with Chelsea looking to add another striker to their arsenal.

In response to the news, various Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to discuss it, and it’s fair to say that they’re all saying a very similar thing: no way! They don’t think that Daniel Levy would ever sanction a move for a player to Stamford Bridge, no matter what – and they don’t want him to either!

It's an Indy rumour so it's either 2nd hand or false.

Even so, I'd say yes to anyone else but since it's Chelski, I hope Levy tells them to do one.
