The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern are feeling pretty glum this morning…
A draw against Sunderland saw the Lilywhites drop 2 points, and whilst title rivals Chelsea were also held at Liverpool – the draw meant that Pochettino’s side missed a chance to catch up with their London rivals.
Tottenham played well, but they lacked lethality – as they so often have under Pochettino – and that is what could cost them this year.
However, the poor result isn’t the only problem that Pochettino must contend with. An audible sigh was heard in the Tavern when star left back, Danny Rose, went down with an injury.
The defender has been, arguably, one of Tottenham’s best players this season – and the chance of an injury lay-off has terrified the Tottenham fans on Twitter.

Their reaction certainly shows how important Rose is to their team – and whilst Ben Davies is a good option to have, Rose is just on another level.
