The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern are hoping their side can rectify their poor recent run of form at Leicester this evening.
The Lilywhites faithful propping up the bar began the season in optimistic mood after narrowly missing out on the Premier League title in past two seasons. However, with Manchester City racing into an early-lead and Tottenham struggling for form recently, their pre-season ambitions look to be hanging by a thread. Mauricio Pochettino will need to re-assess the club’s goals for the season in the coming weeks, unless Guardiola’s City make an unlikely slip-up and they manage to put together a run of wins.
Ahead of their evening fixture with Leicester, Tottenham’s Twitter page posted a highlight reel of their most recent visit to The King Power Stadium when they dismantled a hapless Leicester by six goals to one.
for @HKane, for us.

The club tweet received a mixed response from Tottenham supporters on Twitter.
Plenty The Lilywhites are eager to see a repeat of their demolition in May to install some confidence back into their club.
However, one tweeter wisely warned of a Leicester backlash this evening with last seasons humbling defeat still fresh in the memory…
