The Spurs fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to their club’s tweet, detailing metal panels that make up the facade a Spurs New Stadium, although the fans aren’t having any of it. The Lilywhites are still dejected after losing out to Manchester United on Saturday as the club stretched their run to eight straight defeats in FA Cup semi-finals.

For the Spurs fans, FA Cup semi-finals are becoming a chore. The club hasn’t won in the last four of the competition since they won the competition in 1991 and in that time the club have fallen at the penultimate hurdle a total of eight times, most recently this year’s 2-1 loss to United and last year’s 4-2 defeat to Chelsea. Tottenham are yet to win a major trophy under Mauricio Pochettino despite the amazing job that the Argentine has done in North London, leading many to claim he’s yet to go down as a success with the club.
Pochettino has led the club to back-to-back seasons in the Champions League for the first time and back-to-back FA Cup semi-finals for the first time in the Premier League era. Although so far, Pochettino has been unable to get Spurs over the line to winning their first trophy with him at the helm. The club also find themselves in a superb position to start winning trophies too, the core squad is young and energetic and the Spurs style of play is up there with some of the best sides in the world. For the Spurs fans, getting out of the mindset of being a ‘nearly club’ is a must over the next few years.

But can they win a trophy? Sorry but I'm totally shattered and dejected.

taken an even closer look and just found that metal panels changing their character unter different conditions do not see us advancing into a cup final since '91
