The Man Utd fans in the Football Transfer Tavern don’t know what’s going wrong…

Under Jose Mourinho, if anything, Manchester United have regressed – rather than progressed.

Despite spending millions upon millions in the summer, Mourinho has thus far failed to bring the best out of his team – and the Man Utd fans in the Tavern are beginning to get seriously concerned about the future.

This week brought yet another defeat for the Red Devils, this time at the hands of Turkish side Fenerbahce – who United came up against in the Europa League. Despite a stunning goal from Wayne Rooney, United lost the game 2-1 – and their progression in Europe is now seriously under threat.

The Man Utd fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are absolutely devastated about the result, and many of them are calling for Jose Mourinho to be replaced as manager.

That is certainly a bold wish – and our landlord wants to know if Man Utd fans outside of the Tavern agree.
