The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern are desperate to see Danny Rose return over the next few weeks…
The impressive defender has been out of action for a while, having injured his knee in April, and whilst he was expected to make a relatively quick recovery – he has still yet to feature for the Lilywhites.
Ben Davies has deputised for him, but the Tottenham fans in the pub have been far from impressed with the Welshman, with many clamouring for the return of Rose.
However, those hopes have now been dented further, with the Daily Mail reporting that Danny Rose has suffered a setback in his recovery – with the defender now a doubt for Tottenham’s FA Cup Semi Final against Chelsea.
Rose is arguably one of Tottenham’s most important players, so this is a big problem for them.
This has come as a huge blow for those in the Transfer Tavern, and the supporters on Twitter aren’t faring much better…
