The Spurs fans in the Transfer Tavern have bee reacting to their club’s Twitter post, showing a picture of the new stadium. Tottenham played their final season at White Hart Lane last year and have been playing at Wembley this season as they await the construction of their new home in N17.

Tottenham came into their current campaign under a cloud. The club had been accused of having a “Wembley hoodoo” after failing to win in a number of the recent games at the ground. However, they’ve put that to bed this season after claiming the scalps of Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid at the home of football.
The fans will be looking forward to moving back into their home in N17 though, White Hart Lane was demolished at the end of last season and fittingly, their last full Premier League campaign at the ground saw them go unbeaten, winning 17 and drawing two of their 19 league games there. Now though the fans will be hoping they can help to create new history as they move into their revolutionary 60,000 seater stadium, just 100 yards away from where the legendary White Hart Lane once was.

What will be even more breathtaking is @AlderweireldTob walking out on the pitch for our first home game next season.
