West Ham United fans here in the Tavern are desperate for Manuel Pellegrini to make the most of the summer transfer window. Indeed, a number of changes will need to be made after a rather stressful campaign last time around. 

The Hammers will have their sights set firmly on securing a European place next season, with many of our local residents desperate to experience success under Manuel Pellegrini.

Although, the summer transfer window will be of huge importance after exposing some weaknesses throughout the last campaign. Indeed, Pellegrini will want to start brightly at the London Stadium by landing a big-name signing to get supporters on his side prior to the start of next season. And, with a striker craved, perhaps the Hammers will be able to defy expectations if they strengthen in the correct areas.

With that in mind, West Ham need to seal this deal to kick off the Pellegrini era correctly…

Bas Dost

The Dutch international established himself as one of the most prolific strikers in the whole of world football in the last campaign, notching himself an incredible 34 goals and providing seven assists for his teammates.

Bas Dost terminated his Sporting Lisbon contract recently, so he may be available on a free transfer this summer.

So, with Javier Hernandez seemingly heading for the exits after a poor first season back in English football, Pellegrini should waste no time in bringing the tall striker to the London Stadium.
