This transfer window could be shaping up to be one of the very best for West Ham and its supporters in years.
On top of Issa Diop, Ryan Fredericks, Lukasz Fabianski and Jack Wilshere, the Hammers have now added Andriy Yarmolenko to the squad after the club confirmed the signing of the Ukrainian winger on a four-year deal.
And West Ham’s activity in the transfer window is unlikely to stop there with the London Stadium hierarchy still pursuing deals for Sporting Lisbon attacking midfielder Bruno Fernandes and Lazio winger Felipe Anderson.
The likes of Fernandes, Anderson and £20.7m-rated (via Transfermarkt) Yarmolenko are the type of flair players that will help Manuel Pellegrini deliver the attacking style of football he has promised.
Both in terms of ambition and West Ham supporters’ desire to see the team play the ‘West Ham way’, Fernandes, Anderson and Yarmolenko are a step in the right direction for the club.

He definitely will. It hasn’t gone perfect at Dortmund last season but he was considered one of the most exciting wingers in Europe when they signed him. He could be great for us.
